At Knightlamp, we hold the care, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people as central to our work. We have a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse and are committed to creating a trauma-informed environment where children are safe, feel safe, and are empowered to participate in decisions that affect their lives. We recognize that children with disabilities are at a higher risk of harm, and we proactively manage these risks through rigorous screening, continuous education, and a culture of transparency and accountability.

We move beyond simple compliance by embedding relational safety and trauma-informed care into our governance. We ensure our team is not only suitable—through rigorous NDIS Worker Screening and WWCC checks—but also deeply supported through reflective practice and specialist training to uphold these values in every interaction.
